After the ground breaking ceremony, which was held last September 21, 2021, as part of the solicitation committee, I am so thrilled to have the support of people from different places, age and status: Young and old, Chinese School (from other places), Businessman, Alumnus, dearly friends who shows their concern thru a call to pledge a donation. Especially those who have shared a significant jaw dropping amount. To name a few, hope they won’t mind me telling of their wonderful deeds to the world,
Mr. Victor Uy, who owns a big company that operates in Real Estate industry in Butuan, VCDU. He personally drop by after the ground breaking ceremony and share his convictions towards giving a two million because of his concern to TCA. As he says “How can I not care, that even all my children, and my children’s children have studied, graduated and some are still studying here” pointing in our school ground, where he was standing. A humble businessman, soft spoken, kind and generous, which I believed, the source of his blessings and the reason why his business flourish;
Mr. Lando Lim, a good friend of our BOT President, Pai Yu Chou, who also owns a big business (Richmond Plywood Corporation), who responded to our call for help, recently called to pledge a million too. Wow, thank you, Lord, for touching their hearts!
Also, to Batch 1989, ehurmmm, which I belong, who immediately responded and pledge a million. We cannot ignore and just close our eyes seeing our school turns to ashes. We cried. call each other. And We, as batch, in all the way we could, desire a bigger, a better campus, aside of course, raising and maintaining the quality of education, and have a mission to help TCA grow and be the best school in Butuan…
Mr. Floranty “Dante” Dy, who is an alumnus 1974, without doubt, deposited half a million to show his concern and support to his alma mater.
